In an alternate timeline, the Crimean War was fought between Sontar and the British. With the help of the Thirteenth Doctor, the war ended in 1855 when the Sontarans - in the midst of a strategic withdrawal - were defeated by British troops of the Light Division under the command of Lieutenant General Logan.
