Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]

Buzznut Steelman originates from the fan-novel and self-described "fan-shitpost" Zagreus 2, a novel the conceit of which was to make a story more incomprehensible than Zagreus [+]Loading...["Zagreus (audio story)"], a story renowned for being confusing. It was organised by creator of the Noodle Man Plum Pudding. He appears in Chapter Three, which is told largely from his perspective. His real name is Alan Fairchild, and after discovering Zagreus by some docks after being entreated to solve a mystery of a strange blue box on Bond Street by an old schoolfriend, Steelman reveals himself to be none other than Lawrence Miles in disguise, and reacts with elation to the fact he has managed to become a character in the "Whoniverse", before realising that he is in a piece of fan fiction rather than a more officially-licensed work. On the copyright page of The Noodle Incident, copyright for him is credited to Shergar Sahacagar, author of The Case of the Noodle Man [+]Loading...["The Case of the Noodle Man (short story)"].
