The Case of the Noodle Man was the sixth story in Arcbeatle Press's 2024 April Fools' Day anthology The Noodle Incident.

Summary[[edit] | [edit source]]

In one of 10,000 Dawns, John Watson writes of the case of Noodle Incident, which began on the 1 April 1890 at about nine o'clock when The Noodle Man arrives at the door. He attempts to sell a book as Holmes, in an opium-induced haze, invites him in. Holmes states that he ascertained the Noodle Man's identity via his CCTV system, as well as due to the Noodle Man being "the only being in Britain so clearly made of eggs, flour and water and covered in tomato sauce" and that he stated his identity when Watson opened the door. The Noodle Man praises Holmes' powers of deduction, but Holmes refuses to review the Noodle Man's book. The Noodle Man leaves dejected, while Holmes and Watson remark that this was a "satisfying conclusion".
