An otherwise untitled Captain Scarlet comic story was printed in TV Century 21 in June 1969.
It featured as its primary setting Unity City, a location first introduced in The Daleks story Duel of the Daleks, thus constituting a crossover with the Doctor Who universe.

- News of the Mysteron plot is collected by TV 21 newsman Jim Brady and screened for release by Spectrum, while visual re-writes are performed by J. Watson in Unity City.
- The Mysteron War has endured for two years, with both sides winning victories and sustaining defeats at various times.
- It is Crawford's job to collect the Valour Star medals from a silversmith on Atlantic Street.
- Captain Black finds it easier than he expected to replace the medals with explosive replicas, postulating that the staff are at lunch.
- According to Captain Scarlet, Captain Blue knows the Paris area "like the back of his hand".
- Roberts describes the six men awarded with Valour Stars as "valiant fighters for right" and "champions of liberty".

- The character of J. Watson, who is responsible for the "visual re-write" of the special report on the Mysteron plot, is a clear allusion to this story's artist Jim Watson.
