A number of Doctor Who actors appeared in several Carry On films, including Peter Butterworth, Bernard Bresslaw, Joan Sims, Barbara Windsor, Bernard Cribbins, June Whitfield and Leslie Phillips. William Hartnell appeared in the very first film in the series, Carry On Sergeant. Jon Pertwee appeared in four of them, including what is often regarded as the best one, Carry on Cleo, and the last one in the series, Carry On Columbus. Most were filmed at Pinewood Studios.
