Various individuals kept case files in one format or another.

Beginning sometime prior to 2014, P.R.O.B.E. recorded case files. (PROSE: A Worthy Successor [+]Loading...["A Worthy Successor (short story)"]) P.R.O.B.E. director Giles, in particular, recorded these case fies, which he also referred to as video diaries. (WC: Shadows of Doubt [+]Loading...["Shadows of Doubt (webcast)"]) These video diaries were then transmitted to Sir Andrew Williams to keep him abreast of P.R.O.B.E.'s activities. In 2014, there were P.R.O.B.E. case files stored in the P.R.O.B.E. Archive. Giles saw them when he was in the archive, when an interviewer put him up as P.R.O.B.E. director. (PROSE: A Worthy Successor [+]Loading...["A Worthy Successor (short story)"]) By June 2019, Giles kept copies of them on tape with the rest of his VHS collection, labelled as "GILES: Case Files". (WC: Varunastra [+]Loading...["Varunastra (webcast)"]) However, he also uploaded them to the P.R.O.B.E. log on the Preternatural Research Bureau Online Database, (HOMEVID: A Message From Sir Andrew [+]Loading...["A Message From Sir Andrew (home video)"]) and pressed collections of them onto unmarked DVDs.
