Dalek Commander (The Dalek Revenge)
A Dalek Commander led the Daleks during their occupation of Ercos. Enslaving the native Klims, the Daleks intended to use the Dalek driller to dig beneath Ercos' surface and hurl the planet at Earth in an act of revenge.

The Dalek Commander was particularly ruthless against both Klim and Dalek alike. Upon arrival on Ercos, he ordered the slaughter of the passive Klims when they refused to instantly submit to the Daleks. When one Klim, Ticon, escaped and two other Daleks failed to find him, the Dalek Commander destroyed one of the scouts for its failure; the second only survived when it hurriedly announced they had captured the Doctor's TARDIS.
The Fourth Doctor, Sarah Jane Smith and Ticon hijacked the Dalek driller, delaying the operations, but the Dalek Commander had it swiftly recovered (tough the intruders escaped) and carried on with the plan. As it neared completion, the Klims rose up against the Daleks, prompting the Commander to depart Ercos in a hurry, leaving half the Dalek force behind to be killed in the blast as the Dalek spacecraft took off.
As the Dalek driller set off beneath the surface, the Doctor sealed the shafts and its payload detonated prematurely. In the spacecraft escaping Ercos, the Daleks aboard turned on the Commander for the failure of the mission. The Commander tried to retain his authority and claim the Daleks could still turn the defeat around as his subordinates blasted him apart. (COMIC: The Dalek Revenge)

- The Dalek Commander is among a handful of Daleks which narration refers to with male pronouns (on one occasion, a text box refers to "his trap"), as opposed to use of "it", which is more common for standard Daleks.
