Disappearance of Susan Foreman
The disappearance of Susan Foreman occurred in 1963. Susan, a student at Coal Hill School in London in 1963, was actually the granddaughter of the Doctor, a renegade Time Lord, and departed London with him in his TARDIS when two of her teachers, Barbara Wright and Ian Chesterton, intruded into the time machine after growing concerned about Susan's home life.
Most accounts held that Susan never came back to 1960s London, although Barbara and Ian were able to return to London in 1965 after acquiring a Dalek time machine. Her disappearance was known into the 21st century on Earth.
