Florence Briscoe

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

Florence Briscoe was a 20th century London artist who specialised in crosshatch pencil sketches. She worked for The Idler and was friends with fellow contributor William Hope Hodgson.

After her resurrection in the City of the Saved, Briscoe was hired by the Royal Philological Institute because they preferred publishing monochrome sketches. She once worked closely with J. R. R. Tolkien and Adoma Achede to uncover the mystery of Jama'a Civil Tongue.
