Immersive reality
Immersive reality games were a type of video game created on and popularised by the Sphere of Freedom. The planet exported the games to over a thousand star systems, with an estimated player base of at least several billion. They allowed players to feel as if they were inside the game itself. The most expensive and high-end immersive reality game was Fugitives. In reality, this game was being powered by time eddies moving people into different times and places for a more realistic experience. Audrey Mohinson used this both to generate money for research and development and to feed the resulting space-time shadows to the Ravagers, using the feelings of fear generated to prevent them from destroying the universe. The Ninth Doctor loved immersive reality games, especially Geraldo's World. Nova, however, was not a fan despite working on the Sphere of Freedom, due to only accessing cheap games as part of her pay. (AUDIO: Sphere of Freedom [+]Loading...["Sphere of Freedom (audio story)"])
