Johann Illes was an artist from 21st century Earth. Despite being a famed painter, he only ever made one portrait, which was of the Unique Lady. When the Unique Lady heard rumours of him painting a portrait of Arabella Horsley, making his portrait of her not unique, she had him killed. The Tenth Doctor had heard of his mysterious disappearance. (PROSE: The Last Dodo)
