According to Rhys Williams, Kaitlin Russell belonged to a generation of millennials, who placed an emphasis on the Earth's environment. Her family was in petrochemicals, and she initially told Rhys was travelling the world before it was destroyed by human trash or an idiot with bad hair, but later admitted she was doing research for an environmental charity. She helped Rhys fight of a Nestene Consciousness invasion and the North Atlantic garbage trap. The Consciousness wanted information from her. (AUDIO: Sargasso)
