Mach-Teldak was a visitor to Amsterdam. She had golden skin and compound eyes. She told Nyssa that the people[which?] were attacked by the Nix. She employed Rembrandt van Rijn to draft her a schematic for a spaceship with Polsbroek made for her.[statement unclear] She used a genetic shield to hide from the Nix. She wanted to use the Fifth Doctor to change time to stop the Nix from destroying her people. When he refused she claimed she just wanted to see her homeworld one last time.
