Metal-eating bacteria were used in the bact guns of the alien guards that protected the Temple of the Gods in an alternate Rome to devour robots. Morris stole a bact gun, and used it to destroy the Robot Flying Squad with the bacteria. (COMIC: Doctor Who and the Iron Legion)
