Elizabeth Cochran Seaman or Nellie Bly was circumnavigating the globe in the fastest time as possible. She was annoyed when she was caught in a tropical storm of the coast from San Francisco. She offered Nyssa her cabin after she became seasick. She had visited Singapore and Japan on her travels. She had been wearing the same clothes do to the sexism of her newspaper editor. She swapped her clothes with Tegan Jovanka to gain a bit of anonymity. In San Francisco, she was tricked onto the wrong train by Marion Jones, but Marcipor followed and got her off the train.
