In the 2nd century BC, the Parthians were recognised as the most skilled archers on Earth, known for firing arrows backwards with amazing accuracy whilst charging on horseback, an ability which helped defeat almost every army set against them. A Parthian Warrior was part of a Legendary Legion assembled by the Fourth Doctor to challenge a fleet of Alien Monsters' threat to Earth.
