Poe Dameron was a fictional character from Star Wars. While piloting a satellite to take out attacking satellites, Ryan Sinclair commented that "Poe Dameron's got nothing on me." (PROSE: Molten Heart)
Ofelia once derisively described Jason Jackson as a "budget Poe Dameron". (PROSE: Life After Death)

Actor Tosin Cole, who played Ryan Sinclair in Doctor Who, appeared in Star Wars: The Force Awakens as Bastian, a starfighter pilot for the Resistance.
Ryan's comment about Poe Dameron may have been a reference to the fact that he served as commanding officer to Cole's character in the film.[1]
