St. Giles' Circus

The gallows of St. Giles Circus were a place of execution in the historic London parish of St. Giles-in-the-Field. The condemned were brought through the nearby Resurrection Gate, which supposedly "wiped clean" their souls ahead of execution. (PROSE: The Book of the War)
