The Daleks (reference book)
From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference
The Daleks was the title of a 1986 reference book published by FASA. It documented the history of the Daleks and gave advice to players of The Doctor Who Role Playing Game on how to approach the foes. It was credited simply to "Fantasimulations Associates". Being written for gamemasters, it mixed original in-universe information with gameplay information, unlike the players' material.
The Daleks was originally released in tandem with The Dalek Problem, a fictional, narrative overview of the Daleks. However, the two books were physically distinct and had different ISBN codes.
