Time transmitter
Time transmitters were a form of time travel machine created in an alternate 22nd century.
The devices were based on plans of a Dalek time travel machine. (TV: Day of the Daleks)
Construction[[edit] | [edit source]]
The time transmitters were a oblong box with a strap made for shoulder wear. They contained a mini-dematerialisation circuit and a temporal feedback circuit, the latter of which could be overloaded. (TV: Day of the Daleks) The time transmitter contained circuitry in a fold out panel on the front, and additional controls and knobs on the top of the device. (TV: Day of the Daleks, PROSE: Doctor Who and the Day of the Daleks) The dematerialisation circuit was fitted in the base of the time transmitter. (TV: Day of the Daleks)

Operation[[edit] | [edit source]]
There was a button on the top of the time transmitter which allowed for operation of the device. It emitted a humming sound when in operation, and vibrated. (TV: Day of the Daleks)
When in operation the those in the future could trace the usage of a time transmitter, and if frequency of the time transmitter module was known a time vortex magnetron could be used to attract the operator of a time transmitter to the magnetron. (TV: Day of the Daleks)
