Titus Craven was a self-important bounder and business partner of Geoffrey Balsam. He inherited a fortune. He took a fancy to Flip Jackson even through she was married. He paid Nehemiah Hawnch to find the rhinoceros alive. He later kidnapped both Clara and Flip, planning to take them both to Jamaica. (AUDIO: The Behemoth)
