Torchwood emergency hologram
The Torchwood emergency hologram was a holographic construct that resided in the destroyed Torchwood Three Hub.

Activated when Vijay Meghani, Diana Lopez and Bryn Popkin began exploring the Hub, the hologram took Ianto Jones's form and sealed the building in the hopes of recruiting the trio to stop Bilis Manger, who had infiltrated the Hub in order to destroy artefacts that could save Torchwood in the future. Recruiting Vijay to Torchwood, the hologram appeared exclusively to him.
Bilis, aware of an alternative timeline where Vijay, Diana and Bryn joined Torchwood under the hologram's tutelage, made it his business to kill the three. The others soon killed, Bilis captured Vijay, informing him of his plan to destroy the artefacts, and removed Vijay's eye, allowing him to see the hologram. Releasing Rift scar energy into the Hub, Bilis offered Vijay the choice of saving himself or the technology with what he claimed was a survival shroud. Though it scanned the shroud to see if the shroud’s protection could be expanded, the hologram informed Vijay that his survival was less important than the technology, convincing him to use the shroud to save the technology. However moments later the hologram’s scan of the shroud revealed Bilis had lied about the shroud, and both Vijay and the technology were ravaged by the energy.
