Unobservium was the proposed name of element 119 on the periodic table.
Physicists Ed and Condrad spent twelve years and $86 billion researching element 119. Ed claimed to have synthesised element 119 three times, although it never lasted more than two picoseconds. Ed proposed the name unobservium, claiming it was better than ununquadium or ununhexium. Conrad believe element 119 had not been discovered and dismissed the name unobservium.
