Webb

Mr Webb was a resident of Chiswick in London. He owned a blue Transit van.

In May 2009, Webb decided he wanted to get rid of his van so he could claim the insurance. He duly left the vehicle on the street unlocked, with the keys hidden below the steering wheel. That month, there was an attempt by the Mandragora Helix. One of Webb's neighbours, Donna Noble, a companion of the Tenth Doctor, found herself desperate for transportation to the Copernicus Array in Essex to search for the Doctor and her grandfather Wilfred Mott, and discovered the van was unlocked, taking it as transportation. In the course of events, the van was subsequently blown up and abandoned near the Embankment and the East End.

After the Mandragora Helix had been stopped, Webb phoned Donna's mother Sylvia with the news of the van's fate, and told her of his intent regarding the insurance. Sylvia thought Webb's actions were "a bit dodgy", and told Donna about it. (PROSE: Beautiful Chaos)
