Woolly Rhino

The Woolly Rhino roamed the northern reaches of Eurasia up until 10,000 years before the 21st century. The creautres typically reached 4 metres in length and 2-3. The Woolly Rhino got its name from the thick coat of hair that covered its body, protecting it from the cold of the tundra which it made home. The creatures were usually solitary, except when travelling with their young or migrating during the seasons.

Woolly Rhino horns grew to about a metre in length and were used both as defences and in attracting mates. Woolly Rhinos were herbivores and ate almost constantly to keep up their strength. (PROSE: Prehistory Repeating Itself [+]Loading...["Prehistory Repeating Itself (feature)"])
