Ælfwynn was the daughter of Queen Æthelfrid of Mercia. She was accidentally brought from Mercia in 918 to Frodsham in 1983 by Philippa Stone's time machine. She thought that the Fifth Doctor was a demon master. (AUDIO: The Lady of Mercia)
