(Not So) Special Effects was a documentary featuring raw footage of the filming of several special effects sequences for the Doctor Who story The Five Doctors.

The raw footage is compiled of special effects sequences from within the story. This includes the explosion of the Dalek, the ignition of the Black Scrolls of Rassilon, and the various shots involved for the moving faces of the statues on Rassilon's resting place. Various production personnel are briefly heard and seen within the rushes but are given no identification on the feature.
