In May 2621, Imogen Tantry was summoned to Wailing's Lace by Jakob Naguib to investigate a group of Remote who had began living on the Lace. Tantry met with Evie, the spokesman of the Remote, and listened to him tell the story of how he joined the Remote centuries earlier. While Tantry was disgusted by the ways of the Remote, she decided that the Church would not interfere with the development of the Remote.
