On 3 October, the following important behind-the-scenes events were known to have occurred:
- 1972 - Studio filming for Frontier in Space took place at BBC Television Centre studio 4. (REF: Doctor Who The Handbook: The Third Doctor)
- 1977 - Studio filming for Underworld took place. (REF: Doctor Who The Handbook: The Fourth Doctor)
- 1980 - Studio filming for Warriors' Gate took place at BBC Television Centre studio 1. (REF: Doctor Who The Handbook: The Fourth Doctor)
- 2005 - A tone meeting for Army of Ghosts and Doomsday was held. Head writer Russell T Davies saw the tone of the episodes as "classy". (DWMSE 14)
- 2017 - The Big Finish audio story Red Planets was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2020 -Big Finish's audiobook version of the novel 666 Charing Cross Road was recorded remotely.
- 2022 - Russell T Davies delivered the first draft of The Devil's Chord. (DWM 590)
