76 (Love & War)

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

76 was one of Sideridis' κοως who was abducted from the Neutronide estate fields in the desert wilds outside the Cathedral of Time. The Hyperspace Tyrants abducted 76 because they believed she was a Lesser Time Elemental and intended to use her as a hostage. (PROSE: Love & War [+]Loading...["Love & War (short story)"])

Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]

Sideridis considered 76 a "friend" and perceived her as equally important to themself, a relationship that was looked down upon by other Lesser Time Elementals. The two often sat at the base of an old tree with each other. During a rainstorm, a disk-shaped Hyperspace Tyrant spacecraft ripped through the barn Sideridis had hidden 76 within, and lifted her away despite their best efforts to keep her and the other κοως safe. Legacy[[edit] | [edit source]]

Following this, the Patrician of House Neutronides refused to believe Sideridis, who wrote about the event in their diary. Olivia Kagg Waldermein presented an extract of this diary in her 2323 paper Love & War: A Meta-Historical Investigation of the Dawn of the Cosmic Revolution. While 76's fate was obscured by damage dealt to Sideridis' diary, Waldermein suggested that Sideridis likely have presented a lawsuit concerning the abductions to the First Sphere or Presidential Council, and that "it would be reasonable to hope" that 76 returned. Traits[[edit] | [edit source]]

Sideridis noted that "76 [wasn't] the brightest", and they doubted she could learn "five billion languages". (PROSE: Love & War [+]Loading...["Love & War (short story)"])

Appearance[[edit] | [edit source]]

Sideridis described 76's coat as "a thing of beauty", and "ochre and flame, like a morning sky." Like other κοως, 76's fur was camouflaged against the orange sand and sky of the Morning Star. (PROSE: Love & War [+]Loading...["Love & War (short story)"])
