Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]
20th century[[edit] | [edit source]]
After an interview in which his ignorance of current events and banal, patronising questions nearly caused a major diplomatic incident, Fergus was only allowed to do field assignments. (PROSE: Who Killed Kennedy)
In the 1970s, he covered Prof. Gilbert Horner's excavation at Devil's Hump. The interview was interrupted by Olive Hawthorne, who warned them not to open the barrow, and later by the Third Doctor, who had been watching the dig on television, and who failed to prevent it from being opened. (TV: The Dæmons)
21st century[[edit] | [edit source]]
In early 2005, A. Fergus was doing a report on the fifth birthday of the London Eye for 60 Seconds on BBC3, when the Ninth Doctor, with blood on his face, told Fergus and his crew to run. Despite them being hardened professionals, they ran like children, not stopping to ask questions. Fergus later wrote about his encounter on Doctor Who?, asking its owner, Clive Finch, if the Doctor was some sort of vigilante. (PROSE: Have You Seen This Man?)
