Age of the Pythias

The Age of the Pythias was a period of Gallifreyan history in which the Ancient Gallifreyans had an empire ruled by the Pythias. The Pythians ruled Gallifrey for about 5200 years, until the 508th Pythia was overthrown by Rassilon in the Intuitive Revelation. In the histories of Quartinian, the Age of the Pythias was further divided into the Time of Empire and the Time of Chaos. (PROSE: Cat's Cradle: Time's Crucible)
