Albert Smoth was a traffic warden who confronted the Eleventh Doctor and Amy Pond after they failed to purchase two parking tickets for both the spaces the TARDIS was occupying. Albert warned them that the offence would cost them £50, but the Doctor palmed him off with a buy one get one free deal on the psychic paper. However, Albert then signed the psychic paper to give his authorisation, shocking the Doctor. With one side of the paper now ruined, Amy turned it round to the back facing blank side. Later, when the Doctor and Amy visited Base Diana the paper showed their authorisation backwards. (PROSE: Apollo 23)
