Albert Steptoe

Steptoe was a street urchin in the 1890s who helped Strax collect the robots left over from the attempted Cromek invasion of London. He thought that the scrap metal business had a lucrative future. Strax helped him develop the battle cry, "Any old iron!" (PROSE: The Pneuman League)

John Benton once recalled an episode of Steptoe and Son where the old man dumped pickled onions into his bathwater. (PROSE: The Devil Goblins from Neptune)

Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]

Albert Steptoe — while not referred to as such in any valid source and is used only to name this page — was one of the titular characters from the television series Steptoe and Son, which was also established to exist within the DWU in PROSE: The Devil Goblins from Neptune. In that story, John Benton referred to Albert Steptoe, albeit not naming him at the time.
