The Ameteli were large red creatures with wings. They were easily identified by their pungent smell of bodily gasses. Capable of flying in space, they also had shimmer devices, which they used to alter their appearances. They always found a way of distracting a planet's population by various means (like shooting them with mind-controlling arrows laced with Porcheen neurotoxins that compel them to fall in love).
