Anitra was a medical officer on the Nerva Beacon.
She observed the Fourth Doctor, Sarah Jane Smith and Harry Sullivan going through the ship after they arrived via a Time Ring, and stopped Kellman killing them after learning they were doctors who could assist her with handling the plague on the station. However, after Jim Warner's death, it transpired that the plague was actually the work of the CyberNomads poisoning the crew, with the Doctor and Anitra managing to cure Sarah when she was poisoned by a Cybermat. Anitra was taken hostage by the Cybermen when they planned to ram the Nerva into an asteroid made of gold, but she was saved by the Doctor and Commander Stevenson. (AUDIO: Return of the Cybermen)
