Assisium was a town north of Rome.
The First Doctor, Ian, Barbara and Vicki stayed at the villa of Flavius Giscard which was located in this town in 64 AD, (TV: The Romans) having made a promise to the villa's caretaker Lucius to care for the house after his death. (PROSE: Romans Cutaway)
