Asteroid lasers were lasers capable of destroying asteroids. The Hesperus, a salvage ship operated by the Vinvocci, was equipped with asteroid lasers which Rossiter and Wilfred Mott used to destroy UNIT missiles fired by the Master Race. (TV: The End of Time)
