Astran space fleets were space fleets of 18 flying saucers employed by the Astran Empire to patrol their borders.
They were commanded by Astrans who held the title of Kapt.
One Astran space fleet, which engaged the Tenth Space Fleet in battle in the first engagement of the Space War, was outfitted with Astran star missiles and proved to have sufficient firepower and battle prowess to match the human Fleet toe-to-toe; the battle resulted in heavy losses for both sides.
