Three men were paid by Professor Logan to say that they had been on a space mission to Venus and brought back rock samples. When the Third Doctor and the Brigadier visited the complex there were in quarantine, having supposedly just returned from a trip. When Logan captured the Doctor, two of the men escorted the him over to a rocket that was to crash land on Venus and restrained him inside. Logan's facade was later uncovered.
