Following his death, the Seventh Doctor was booked for an autopsy at Walker General Hospital on the morning of 31 December 1999 on the orders of Doctor Grace Holloway. However, he regenerated into the Eighth Doctor and left the hospital before the procedure could occur. (TV: Doctor Who)
