Avishka Sangakkara was a scientist who was in charge of a space probe in 2015. The Eighth Doctor asked if he needed help find it when the probe went missing. He was worried when the Doctor told him something was happening to the probe. (AUDIO: The Eight Truths) He tracked the stellar manipulator to the old Olympic Village. He was possessed by the Eight Legs until the Doctor freed him from the possession. (AUDIO: Worldwide Web)
