Footnotes[[edit] | [edit source]]

  1. A History of Humankind states that the Mary Celeste was discovered just off the coast of the Azores, while The Secret Lives of Monsters states that it was discovered about 600 miles west of Portugal. Therefore, the Azores must be around 600 miles west of Portugal.
