Milk VFX, REAL SFX and The Model Unit receive a BAFTA for their work on The Day of the Doctor.

BAFTA, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, is an organisation that bestows awards for excellence in British film and television. In 2006, Doctor Who won a BAFTA award for Best Drama Series. Additionally, many people associated with Doctor Who and its spin-offs have won or been nominated for BAFTA awards, including Mary Wimbush, Ken Ledsham, Richard Stokes, and Andy Goddard.

A small mini-episode of Doctor Who, later released online as BAFTA in the TARDIS, was included in the 2013 awards.

BAFTA had granted Noel Clarke an Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema award, one of its most prestigious, on 10 April 2021, but later that month rescinded the award and revoked Clarke's membership in the organisation in light of allegations of sexual misconduct surrounding him.[1]
