The first issue of BeanoMAX, released in February 2007 to tie into Red Nose Day 2007, was of notable relevancy to Doctor Who. It not only featured an official crossover between the series and The Bash Street Kids, but also featured an ongoing story between numerous comics which featured other minor cameos and references to the franchise.
The main arc of the comic featured Jonathan Ross and other guests exploring Beanotown, thus finding themselves wandering into the various comics printed in the magazine.
