Baligant Caulphin
Master Librarian Baligant Caulphin was a Bookkeeper of the Plume Coteries. He had tan skin and "chiseled" features.
At the culmination of "decade upon decade of unrewarding administrative busywork", he reached the "zenith" of his career when he was assigned the main reception desk in the Void Gate Room of the Plume Coteries' Library, fulfilling his lifelong ambition of "represent[ing] the very model of an elder paragon of posthuman literacy". His secret hope that his first day would be a momentous event in the history of the Library in some way was fulfilled at the last minute when the so-called Last of the Mappers came into the Library right after the official closing time.
