Belinda was the communications expert on the Federation starship Nepotist.
She was from Scotland, where her parents ran a wet-fish shop. She hated it so much that she developed a phobia of sea fish.
When Belinda and Marn were brought to the Ghillighast, they thought she was their long-prophesied queen. She convinced them, with goading from Marn, to attack Valcea and defeat Daedalus. However, when they arrived, Daedalus transformed her ironically into a giant squid. (PROSE: The Blue Angel)
