Bernard O'Neill
Bernard O'Neill was captain of the land ship the Beagle. He was part of an expedition on the moon Titan where Lady Takashi had been led by an alien presence in her dreams. Rudy Zoom funded the mission, and stated in the contract that Lady Takashi was in charge of navigation, to Captain O'Neill's annoyance. Later, when the ship changed its buoyancy and sailed on the methane river, the Beagle approached a cavern, and Lady Takashi said that they were close. They found a Garden with a breathable environment and artificial gravity, but no animal life. As an expedition went inside, the Garden starting moving away from the ship. Many of the team were eaten by the Haluu Sythorr, but Bernard saved the survivors as the Garden was blown up. He told Rudy he had to do it because Rudy only paid him for half of the trip.
