Bill's father was a clean-shaven man who fathered Bill with a woman whom he later divorced, marrying Kady Williams. However, he ultimately began to see Bill's biological mother again, which he eventually confessed to Kady. They divorced so he could return to her, taking Bill with him. (PROSE: Ring Theory)
