A drunk man from Birkenhead managed to knock out a Sontaran by hitting it in the probic vent with a mallet. The Lewises thought this to be typical of Birkenhead. Neville and Eileen, having heard the story, decided to use pans to fight the Sontarans. (TV: War of the Sontarans)
